How to fix broken make up

So a little while ago my compact powder fell out of my handbag and it was too messy to use. I love this powder as I can use it alone and I get such a flawless finish, I didn't want to chuck it away. After months of avoiding it I finally decided to fix it so I could use it again.

Fenugreek for hair growth

I'm sorry that this is yet another post on getting long hair but I just couldn't help myself because I have found a very easy, cheap and effective way to pamper your hair at home.

How to measure hair growth

If you are trying to grow your hair long it can be quite hard to see the results yourself so here is an easy way to monitor your hair growth journey.

Post pregnancy corset wearing

So after pregnancy its only natural to want to get back to you pre-pregnancy size/weight. But after 10 months of piling on the weight it can be a little hard to get back to your old eating habits. Personally I lost a lot of weight after my daughter was born two years ago, I didn't do anything I only breastfed for 6 weeks but after that I had no appetite.

MUA Makeup Academy to try or not?

Like many other women I am a very big fan of YouTube, especially the make up reviews and videos. Every now and again I watch make up tutorials and see what the latest make up trends and reviews on them are. I love make up I can actually afford and don't feel bad about purchasing, the days when I used to spend £25 on foundation, £30 on eyeshadow and £50 on face creams is over, so when I saw Goss makeup artist on YouTube make a recent video on how to look good using high street make up I was intrigued.

Forever Young Salicylic acid chemical peel Review

Salicylic acid for chemical peel
For a while now I have been wanting to do a chemical peel at home, I have some acne scarring that I want to get rid of and chemical peels is just one of the ways that can help. I have been doing Dermaroller for a while now and can see results but some people also combine chemical peels and Dermaroller for quicker results. After thorough research I decided to go for it!

How to curl hair using no heat!

As you know long term use of hair straighteners and curling irons can cause damage to your hair, using heat protective products can help but eventually your will get weaker and damaged. If your lucky it may only be the ends of the hair that are damaged and you can get away with cutting a little off the ends otherwise you will have the painstaking slow process of having to repair your hair from the roots. Anyway I'm sure you all know this so I'm going to talk about the various different ways you can curl your hair without using heat that I have tried and tested.

White label and private label products

I had a very interesting conversation the other day regarding some cosmetic brands that I had never heard of before, the packaging was very simple and prices were competitive but I had no idea who they were. After a little research I found that it was a normal person who wanted to have their own line of cosmetics so they approached a white label company and ended up with their own range of make up.

Using Dermaroller for over plucked eyebrows

Just a quickie post about my eyebrows, *sigh* yes I have an obsession with them, they are either over plucked and thin or they are too bold from being heavily filled in, I just can't win! As you can see in a previous post of mine here, I over plucked them and need to start filling them in to look human again. Well they didn't look too bad in that picture, trust me they were really bad. Anyway I decided that I needed an eyebrow change and go for something a little low maintenance, so I grew them out and used Dermaroller to help them grow back quicker. It worked!

Dark toes

I was reading something the other day when I came across something I never thought of before. There was a question on why people get dark toes or the skin on their toes turn dark. I know a few people that have this problem and on a whole the only people that don't get this problem are... yes you guessed celebrities!

Three dot eyeliner pen

I came across Clarins three dot eyeliner that is supposed to be a limited edition eyeliner, it costs around £20. After a little research I have found that the three dot eyeliner has been circulating for a few months and this surprised me because I discovered it months ago. As you know I am very much into Korean make up brands at the moment and I discovered the three dot eyeliner a few months ago whilst I was searching for some new make up brands for me to try out.

Tony Moly egg pore balm review

You may have read my other post on this egg pore balm by Tony Moly I discovered it a few weeks ago whilst looking for a quick fix for my ice pick scars and oily skin, as this claims to solve both problems I decided to buy it and find out myself if it really does work.

How to get a neater hairline for women

Kim before fame
I came across a picture the other day of Kim Kardashian it was before she was famous, what make me look twice was how normal she looked and when I compared it to a recent picture her hairline looked messy with little baby hairs and flyaways. Now when you look at her pictures now she has a very neat and clean hairline that looks very different from years ago. If you go back and look at celebrities before they were famous you will find that many of them had very messy hairlines whereas now they are clean and free from little baby hairs.

Threading hair removal

Threading is a form of epilation (hair removal) that has been around for thousands of years, it origincally started in the East but has been proved very popular in the West too as many people see cheaper and alternative methods for hair removal.

Ombre hair/dip dye hair

Ashley Simpson ombre hair
I was searching for a new hair style the other day when I noticed a trend (yeah a little late as always) for hair dyeing that's very popular with the celebs at the moment. There are two that are creeping around at the moment, the first is Ombre hair and the other is dip dyeing hair. The two are very similar and here I will explain how.

Fake Mac 88 Palette

Fake MAC palette
As you will see there are many fake MAC eyeshadows circulating but the most popular one is the 88 colour palette. If you have ordered one then you will be surprised to know that it is in fact fake, if you have got one then you won't be surprised as its pretty obvious. MAC is a very popular brand that lives up to its reputation from make up artists to beginners and even celebrities we all love their make up range. Not only are the pigments strong and long lasting their other products stand up to the test too.

Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm Primer

Tony Moly Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm Primer
After much research I have come across a product which may solve a few of my problems at the same time. I have noticed recently that I have extremely oily skin, on top of this I have very bad ice pick scarring that I am currently treating using Dermaroller. So until Dermaroller completely transforms my skin Tony Moly may come in handy before then.

Vajazzle

I have never watched TOWIE (The Only Way Is Essex) nor do I ever read about it, I don't watch reality programs so when there is a new trend that everyone talks about I'm always 'left out the loop' lol. Well anyway I came across Vajazzles the other day and it intrigued me. I had no idea that TOWIE had publicised this and also decided to call them Vajazzles.

Long toenails

I often see people with over grown toenails but to make them stand out even more they are often painted or adorned with nail art. Personally I think toenails should be kept short and trimmed regularly, there's nothing more unsightly than long and over grown toenails. I have spoken to a few friends of mine and they too agree that toenails should not be long and resemble claws.

88 Colour Eyeshadow Palette

A while ago I wanted to buy an eye shadow palette with many different colours, not only will it save me time on finding the rights shades I want from my make up collection but it will also save me a lot of money! After having a quick look I decided to hold off for a while until I find one that has good reviews. The ones circulating at the moment are, Coastal Scents 88 Palette, BH Cosmetics 88 Palette and Mac 88 Palette. Although the 120 and 180 colour palettes are also available.
