The Diamond Store Review

For the last few years I have been wanting to buy a Ruby ring but finding one that is to my taste has been very hard. After much searching I saw a few on The Diamond Store but costing a few hundred pounds I was unsure whether I should part with so much money. I debated a lot about what I should do then decided that since I had waited three years I have the money and still want it just as bad, so I went for it.

Now the ring I chose was £295 with a 3.75mm Ruby and Premium Quality Diamonds 0.10CT set in 9K white gold. The thing about Rubies is that they are rare and hard to find such good quality ones so most high street jewellers sell simulated ones so they aren't quite the real thing, the one from The Diamond Store is from Thailand so 100% real.

As you can see from the picture above it is a gorgeous ring so I went ahead and bought it. It was in stock when I placed the order and really needed it within the week as I was due to fly out on holiday. Usually the rings are shipped within 48 hours so I had more than enough time but later that day I had an email that said it would take two weeks because they didn't have my size in stock.

I was a little upset and felt deceived the listing did not in any way specify this so I called up to cancel my order. The lady from customer services was very helpful and apologised, she said that she would see if they could get it out any sooner and call me back. Half an hour later she called and they rushed it through, well in no less that 48 hours my ring was delivered!

I was so pleased with the service they were really efficient. When the ring arrived I have to say I was a little disappointed, first of all it looks pink rather then red and also it is much smaller than I anticipated.

When I showed it to my mum she said I was being silly, my husband also said the size was fine so maybe I was just expecting too much, what do you think?
