Hallmark website review

For a number of years I have been using Hallmark to purchase cards for all occasion, sometimes I even get a personalised one for that extra wow factor. I sometimes remember at the last minute that there is a birthday coming up so I just pop onto the Hallmark website and have the card posted directly to the recipient. I've made birthday cards, mothers day cards, fathers day cards and more, I have never had a problem with delivery or the website.

In a few days it is my fathers birthday but I am not in the country, its quicker and easier for me to log into Hallmark, choose a card, personalise it and have them send it directly, if I do it before 2pm it will be sent out first class the same day, fantastic!

As I have sent cards to people living at different addresses I was able to set up and address book so I don't have to re-enter the details every time I come. This was a great time saver as it meant I could sent to multiple people at the same address but to their name individually. Confused? Let me explain, my mum and sister have their birthdays just three days apart, I can create an entry for my sisters name and address and another for my mothers name and address, thus two separate cards to two separate people but living at the same address. Otherwise they would both get sent to the same address under just one name.

Well today I went to send a card, the last time I logged in was five months ago and they have completely changed the way you send a card and it is no longer user friendly. Hallmark have completely wiped off my address book and I cannot enter a different billing address to my delivery address, very bad! This is very important as all the people I send cards to, do not live at the same address as me.

Anyway I used to enjoy using Hallmark to send my cards but its too complicated now and just not worth it! Purchasing a card online use to take me less than 2 minutes, the same time it would take if I had to pay instore, today it took me more than 10 minutes! I have emailed customer services to complain and I await a reply.
