Gumtree Daily Deals have stopped?

I have a few websites that  I usually check out every now and again when I remember for bargains, you can sign up to them but I get bombarded with too many so have decided to check them when I have time. Money Saving Expert (MSE) have weekly deals that change every Thursday and eBay too have Daily Deals and also weekly deals that change every Thursday. I usually check out the deals on Gumtree as they can be unique and you can more than some other places I check, but a few days ago it disappeared from the website.
Gumtree Daily Deals usually have something for everyone but I find that you can save more money on things a woman would need such as underwear, jewellery and meals out. They also have gadgets, holidays, furniture and courses but savings are higher in only some of the categories. It always made me wonder how a pack of 3 bra's could cost £50 but then drop to £15, it seems like a lot of the things were overpriced anyway and the company needed to shift them quick, that's where Daily Deals come in.

In the last few weeks however I found that not many people where buying any of the Daily Deal 'bargains', under the offer it says how many people have bought this offer. Some used to run into the hundreds but I found some with only a handful bought. Then all of a sudden daily deals on Gumtree disappeared completely until a few days ago when it re-appeared again saying that it had now stopped, no explanation given.

Personally I think people opened up their eyes and found that they weren't really saving a lot of money as eBay always have bargains to be had if you know how to search correctly. In a way I'm glad they have stopped as there are far too many of these websites popping up. There are too many to keep checking and in the end you get paranoid thinking you are spending too much.
