Using Google search for blogs

Did you know that when using Google to search you can specify certain things so that you get a better tailored result. For example, if I need information from the UK only then I click 'Pages from the UK', if I only want images I select images from the top navigation bar. I also search for reviews a lot or first hand information on products and services therefore I enjoy searching on Blogs only, did you know that you can select Google to search blogs only?

Blog searches can be very handy as they tend to be exactly what you are searching for as opposed to searching through Googles 'normal' search results. Recently I was searching for information on a face primer and couldn't find what I was looking for, I then changed my preference to search blogs only and got exactly what I was looking for, with pictures included.

If you have a particular hobby or enjoy reading about certain topics than searching for blogs is much better. Blog search was introduced to help readers find good quality up to date content instead of scouring the web to find what they need, so next time you are using Google search try searching the Blogs only to see if you can find what you need.
