I have been obsessing about big bouncy curls for a long time now and decided to treat myself for my birthday. I needed a big wand because I have very long hair and also I wand big bouncy curls and not waves or small ringlets, Remingtons Sapphire pro curl seemed to be perfect so I popped into Argos (cheapest and most convenient) and bought the last one in stock.
I brought it home and couldn't wait to try it, I tried it on second day hair and it didn't make a difference at all, the curl just did not hold. I was so upset but decided to give it another go this time using a hair product to help hold the curl.

I have very fine hair so a little product really did weigh it down but I thought if this is what I need to do then I would go ahead and give it a try. I bought a hair product by shockwaves and hated it because it made my hair very hard, I thought never mind at least the curl will hold, it did curl but it lasted around 30 minutes!

So I decided to give it a go on my mums hair and it was the same, I just bought something similar for my sister so I couldn't give her another one and with no one else to gift it to I had to take it back. I contacted Remington and told them I was very unhappy and they asked me to send it in so they could test it but I just wanted something that works and a refund for this curler that did not work.
Overall I am so disappointed that Remington could not provide a product that works or live up to what it says and shows on the box, so my search continues to find a curling wand that will actually work in my hair.
