Long toenails

I often see people with over grown toenails but to make them stand out even more they are often painted or adorned with nail art. Personally I think toenails should be kept short and trimmed regularly, there's nothing more unsightly than long and over grown toenails. I have spoken to a few friends of mine and they too agree that toenails should not be long and resemble claws.
So why do people keep toenails so long?
One reason is laziness, yes toenails take much longer to grow than fingernails but even so some people are lazy to keep up with basic maintenance. Another reason is some people cannot stand feet even if it means their own, so they just leave them be. The last reason is that surprisingly there are many men that have a fetish for women with long overgrown toenails, there are even websites that you can join to 'indulge' in your toenail fetish, yuck!

Well you get the point but a little search will show far worse than the few I have selected above, I mean come on people its not normal! Even celebrities have nicely trimmed and short toenails, not many of them even have nail art on their toes, simple neutral or bold colours work best. Personally I think people who keep long toenails on purpose seek attention and make themselves look dirty like they need a good wash. Also I don't get how some of these people can get into closed toe shoes, surely they would have to buy a size or two bigger? So please I urge you trim your nails.
