Fake Mac 88 Palette

Fake MAC palette
As you will see there are many fake MAC eyeshadows circulating but the most popular one is the 88 colour palette. If you have ordered one then you will be surprised to know that it is in fact fake, if you have got one then you won't be surprised as its pretty obvious. MAC is a very popular brand that lives up to its reputation from make up artists to beginners and even celebrities we all love their make up range. Not only are the pigments strong and long lasting their other products stand up to the test too.

MAC eyeshadows
MAC has never brought out a palette with so many shades so most of the so called MAC eye shadow palettes available are indeed fake. The pictures below are of the one I purchased for around £12, I knew it was fake so will not be complaining about that but I just wanted people to be educated and not get ripped off.
I have seen many ebay sellers selling this fake palette (that I purchased for a mere £12) for £20+ there was even one that was being bid on that was at £36! I cannot even believe my eyes on how much they are being oversold for.

As you can see in the picture above the MAC palette is very cheap looking on further inspection, the print is actually very bad and looks smudged. Also on the box are a list of ingredients.

On the back of the palette itself there is nothing apart from a small sticker in the corner, no ingredients or names of the eye shadow colours.

How to spot fake MAC products?
If the price looks too good to be true, it probably is, packaging is also a good give away and differ from the real thing such as similar font, colours etc.

All genuine MAC cosmetic eyeshadows are named and not generically numbered such as 024, 045 etc they are named Stargazer, Ice Queen etc. You should also be able to find the product on their website.

There are many ways to spot a fake so keep your eyes peeled and go with your gut instinct, MAC also do not sell wholesale so anyone who says so is lying.
